CHC is as bad as Al Shaqab. I find it impossible to separate politics from racing at this point.

Wonder why they're high tailing it out of the UK? Could it involve that $1,000,000 in training fees they owe to their other English trainers.

Training fees that had to partially be paid for by the soon to be former racing manager, Harry Herbert

A squeaky clean organization, to be sure.

I saw that earlier. I feel unclean even reading it.

What are the requirements for starting in the Preakness and Belmont?

I imagine you'd have to be TC nominated for one... although it seems specifically in this case it seems to be a promotion that waives the entry fees/starting fees for the Preakness.
For the third year in a row, the Federico Tesio for 3-year-olds offered a "Win and You're In" opportunity for Triple Crown-nominated sophomores to punch an early ticket to the May 19 Preakness Stakes (G1) at Pimlico Race Course.

I like the horse. You can keep Baffert and China Horse Club though.

Never did forgive Baffert for giving every horse in his barn thyroid drugs even though they didn't have thyroid problems. This just reeks of trying to get an edge in a distasteful way. If they didn't have thryoid problems, then this qualifies as looking to give performance enhancing drugs. Esp. bad when the horses die because of it.

I thought he was going to run in AR Derby and then he didn't. Exclamation Point didn't pursue the derby trail either, but that is one nice colt, too.
