Not a bad field, considering, but the original Native Diver wouldn't have lost a lot of sleep over them!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Thanks for the refresher, stark. What a great horse. Grateful that he wasn't left behind at Hollywood Park.

I'm probably in the background crowd there somewhere! Thanks for sharing. He was really special and I think it's appropriate that he shares space now with Shared Belief.

It looks like scratching Prime Attraction from yesterday's turf stakes to run here was a pretty smart move. :D
That big son of Unbridled's Song seems to like the Del Mar dirt just fine, as he wins decisively.
I know he had been flirting with being a winner in dirt stakes earlier this year (Gold Cup, Californian), but he really put it together today.
The four-year-old may be getting good now, but I wonder if we'll see him as a five-year-old. As a stakes-winning son of the late UBS and out of a A.P. Indy mare, the tall, dark and handsome colt does have a stallion's pedigree.
