Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!

And here are the results! The usual disclaimer: please check your numbers if you're wondering at all, because we are humans and always liable for error.

Congrats to BALLERINA for taking the win this year. And after insisting she'd make a fool of herself! Are you ready to rumble, Bal? ;)

I've never picked a real-life money-winning horse in my life, but apparently I THRIVE at this format for BC betting. Oy.

Ballerina 280
Insane Crazy 252
Slewobarney 228
starrydream 226
Afrashad 211
Horsebagger 201
Honor Code 197
PJMIII 196
Treve 191
aethervox 188
bare it all 178
Sparrow Castle 178
Tessablue 175
Diver52 164
middleground 164
Life at Zen 161
Kurenai 151
Kennedy 149
Dusty 149
Forry Cow How 146
serenassong 120

A fun stat: The closest chosen time on the tiebreaker was Kurenai, with 2:01:20. The closest final margin was Horsebagger with 2 1/2 lengths.

Not to brag (lolol), but my example time and margin from the first post -- 2 lengths, 2:01.16 -- wasn't too shabby. I forgot to do an actual one in my posts, but....shhhh. ;)

Thank you. It must have been a lot of hard work figuring out the results. Actually, I'm pretty proud of my tiebreaker as well. 2:01.12 and 3 lengths. The Gun's final time and # of lengths was 2:01.29 and 2-1/4 lengths. It was fun. I did a contest over on FB. I had a bunch of prizes. I played just for the fun - all I managed was 3rd place. LOL! My boy Gun Runner wins and I win this contest. I'm on a roll with butter. Hope the streak lasts.

Ooops I just noticed that Gunnevera dead-heated for fifth, so everyone who had Gunnevera is down one point. Don't think that will make a difference. Congrats Ballerina on the win, and thanks to everyone who participated!

Big congrats Ballerina! And thanks for making this Contest Insane Crazy, was a lot of fun!

Also: I take comfort in the fact that Kennedy flunked that one too  and is in the second half, makes me feel a wee bit better about myself.

Congrats Ballerina!

My Mid-pack finish wasn't too bad. I did better actually betting the races.

I nearly broke even (which is usually my goal), and the money I did lose was about what it would cost going out for an evening of entertainment!
