In case any of you can make it, we're having a fan event to meet Songbird on Sat, Oct 21. from 1:00-3:00. It's free to attend. We'll have refreshments and door prizes. She's a very sweet horse who should welcome having her picture taken with you!

Do you think there'd be a way to set up a live stream? I'll be there in spirit, regardless :D

This is yet another day where I wish that Beamers would already be invented and I could just beam myself over from Austria.

For daydreams about beaming, read "All the Colors Of Darkness" by Lloyd Biggle. (Verify author if you have to request/order the book, because there's something else out that uses the same title.)

Excuse me for asking again, but...where is this event being held? Or is it a secret? :P ;)

Taylor Made :) With the renovations they did to host Chromie events and fans, it makes sense to use the space! Especially since that's where Songbird is currently residing.

Thanks. I"m on the wrong side of the country, unfortunately, so I hope attendees post some photos for those of us who are geographically-challenged. ;)

Sorry, but yes, it's at Taylor Made. That's who's consigning her in Nov, so that's where she's boarded until then.

Victoria, please give her a pat and a mint (or a carrot whatever she prefers) from me if you can. :D

I ended up going and had a great time! Songbird understandably got a little upset over the huge crowd so not everyone could get a picture with her, although I was able to get a selfie with her when she was in her paddock. Songbird defintiely enjoyed all those carrots as well! I also won a Songbird shirt too! Thank you Victoria, Fox Hill, and Taylor Made for doing this! Here are a few pictures from the event.

I think it's great that you guys did this. Being a fan is fun last. FHF makes it fun. Good for you guys. I've said it before but you set the bar. Everyone else is light-years behind.
