Saratoga Live extended through 2020

The New York Racing Association has reached a three-year extension on a deal to broadcast a two-hour live racing program from Saratoga Race Course on FOX Sports 2 each racing day, the partners announced on Thursday.

AGGIE'S HONOR was euthanized after breaking down training yesterday at Saratoga. That's 18 horses who have died this meet. 2 were colic.

RLT up from 13 last year this date (1 illness, 1 flipped in paddock). Very disappointing to see. Never good to see numbers increase.

Whew! That was a close one but hats off to the Pletcher crew for winning the trainer's race.
At the start of the meet I didn't think he'd have enough starters to pull it off, but I see that he dug deep and got it done, congrats.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
