After her troubled 6th place finish in the BCJF Wonder Gadot (Medaglia d'Oro x Loving Vindication) rebounds in the G2 Demoiselle with a 3 3/4- length victory. Happy for her as she was on my radar going into the BC and was a little sad when she got that awful trip.
With this win she earns 10 points towards the Kentucky Oaks.

Pletcher looks to have a hot prospect in Noble Indy
http://www.drf.com/news/pletcher-looks- ... nable=true
Noble Indy, a WinStar Farm homebred, captured his debut by 8 3/4 lengths Sunday, earning a 77 Beyer Speed Figure in the process. Noble Indy, a son of Take Charge Indy out of the multiple stakes-winning mare Noble Maz, completed seven furlongs in a lively 1:22.15 despite having acted up badly at the starting gate just prior to the race.

In the G1 Cash Call Futurity at Los Al, IMO there are three good two-year-olds who are going to come out of the five-horse field. The winner by DQ was McKinzie (Street Sense), 2nd by DQ Instilled Regard (Arch) and DQ'd to 3rd Solomini (Curlin), who crossed the wire first but who did a bit of leaning in down the stretch.
The three of them were separated by mere noses at the wire, and all looked like real racehorses.

Solomini clearly had the momentum but Instilled Regard is certainly a different horse around two turns. McKinzie looked still a little green, swishing his tail in the stretc when Instilled Regard seemed to get a little too close. Agree that these all move forward nicely and have the pedigrees to do so.

No suspense in the Starlet as Dream Tree gives Baffert the double.

Baffert was upset after the DQ because McKinzie had already been unsaddled and sent off to the barn!

BaroqueAgain1 wrote:The 2nd at Aqueduct today, a 1 1/8-mile MSW on the dirt, was full of well-bred and expensive two-year-olds. The winner was Biblical, a Pletcher-trained, $800,000, Tapit/Storm Dixie grey. But it was the 2nd-place horse, the $2 million, Pletcher-trained Marconi who caught my eye.
He's a son of Tapit and Ponche de Leona, which makes him a half to Mucho Macho Man. The tall grey missed the break and trailed the field by many lengths. But he had nine furlongs to work with and he caught the field, steadily passing horses. He went into the home turn really wide and wandered into the middle of the track, but still managed to gain on the leader. Only lost to Biblical, who had a good trip, by what looked like a couple of lengths.
Both Tapits look like they have promise, but I can understand why Todd debuted Marconi at nine furlongs. Once he gets past his wandering-all-over-the-place greenness, this is a colt who looks like he will relish classic distances.
Marconi broke his maiden today very easily; runner-up Lonely Weekend (Tiznow) should also improve.

How is this name in use when it's so close to ill-fated Nehro?

Maybe because Nehro died four years ago, without any offspring?
