The TVG analysts said that this colt was named after Bob Baffert's dear friend Brad McKinzie, who passed away in August.
I hope he becomes a classic winner.

The only 2yo colt this year to earn higher Beyer than debut winner McKinzie (99) was G1 FrontRunner winner Bolt d’Oro (100).
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Land Battle set to break through in Clever Trevor

After finishing second or third in three stakes, Land Battle will be looking for a stakes win of his own in Friday night’s $100,000 Clever Trevor at Remington Park.

The Clever Trevor, at seven furlongs, drew 11. It is expected to produce starters for the $400,000 Springboard Mile, which will award Kentucky Derby points for the first time when it is renewed Dec. 17 at Remington.

Nice win by Tesora (Scat Daddy x Romance Is Roman) at DelMar #4 today. Her second win in two starts, she was checked at about the 1/4 pole, fell back to last, then came around the outside to win going away.

C Brown is making a case for Good Magic as champ 2-year-old male.
Seems like a slippery slope... 1 win? Even if it is the big day, it's just 1 win.
I think Bolt should get it, he ran good considering how the race went for him, and he dominated in his other races.
