Diamondsandpearls just won the 2nd at Santa Anita, a five-furlong MSW on the dirt. Won easy, by open lengths, with her ears pricked. Looks like she may be worth her hefty $1,700,000 auction price.
Oh, and she's trained by Baffert and was ridden by Mike Smith. :P
You don't usually think of Congrats when auction prices go past a million, but IIRC, he has had a bunch of nice fillies.

They need to dump Mike. Everyone knows he's crap with fillies.

I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Pavel is a half-brother to the very talented Caracortado.

BSF is a 97.

Isn't Pavel a 3yo?

Zilfikhar just won a MSW at Los Al with ease, indicating the handsome son of Bodemeister may be worth his $750,000 price tag. He's owned by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, who also has Vale Dori and recent addition, Mubtaahij, in Baffert's barn.
