She's amazing. And we won't have to wait long to watch her again...the Apollo was the first of four races she's targeting during Australia's autumn racing championships. I think the next is in just two weeks.

My Bikini Fell Off finishes strong in Peppers Pride Handicap

The 6-year-old mare My Bikini Fell Off, making just her third start going as far as a mile in her 24-race career, finished fastest of all to win Sunday’s $85,000 Peppers Pride Handicap for New Mexico-bred fillies and mares at Sunland Park.

No, just returned to training. I wonder iif she's grown much.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Maybe more muscle, but she doesn't look like she's grown taller.
She's like the 5'3" sophomore whose big brother is a 6'3' male super model. :P

She's been back in training with Bob since last December after her time off and freshening at the farm, but she only returned to the work tab at Los Alamitos two weeks ago. Her first work back was Feb 16th iirc, and only just now has been moved back to Santa Anita.
I agree I don't think she has grown very much in height (she has a little but no major spurt) but she's certainly developed.

Juddmonte's Suffused has become my favourite turf mare! She's a winning machine! She just won The Very One.

Mott has a Juddmonte British ex-pat making her US debut in the Hillsborough, Swiss Range (GB). She has some class, I'm excited to see how she does.

I thought the ride Ortiz gave Terra Promessa yesterday in the Azeri was horrid. I absolutely do not normally take this stance, but it was almost like he was instructed to lose prior to the race. If there was no fix then at minimum he gave her a terrible ride. I didn't bet the race, had no $ to lose (or win), but that was just repulsive. Only my opinion...

Thought the same thing peep. They tried to rate her and she hated all of it behind horses. If I had money on that I'd be livid.

Mike Watchmaker's summary:
When his career is over many years from now, Irad Ortiz Jr. will have a highlight reel 50 miles long. But his ride on Terra Promessa in Oaklawn’s Azeri will not be on it.

ARCADIA, Calif. – Champagne Room, the champion 2-year-old filly of 2016, will resume training this summer after a 90-day break to recover from recent surgery to remove a bone chip from an ankle.

Trainer Peter Eurton said on Wednesday that Champagne Room’s owners have opted to leave the filly in training after considering retiring and breeding her.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

September Stars (Sea the Stars) just won the 7th at Santa Anita, a 1 1/8-mile AOC on the turf, in very impressive fashion. She made a terrific charge up the fence to overtake the leaders under a fine ride by the Bionic Jockey, Gary Stevens.
One to watch, IMHO. :D

If I heard correctly, the TVG crew said this was her first race in six months, last raced in Britain? With that nice pedigree and obvious talent, I wonder how she ended up here in the States? Maybe she bled a bit and was sent to the Land of Lasix? :P

She won once or twice maybe in Britain on all weather but wasn't anything spectacular, I followed her mildly for a bit because, of her sire.
