Enola Gray gets her graded stakes win in the Wilshire after setting fast fractions and finishing strongly.

It felt fitting that D'Amato's big grey filly just ran them off their feet, not unlike his Obviously, who was retired the same day. :D

Really like me some Enola Gray! Great run!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

How did they find out she is an 'anatomical hermaphrodite?' Did something prompt them to scan her innards?
What male attributes does she have to qualify for hermaphrodite? Maybe a couple of underdeveloped, undescended testicles?
Does she still qualify for distaff races, or does she have to have the boy stuff removed? :?
She's a Tapit filly that is a sibling to a Grade 1 winner, and I would guess that she cost a pretty penny, so how many things were thrown at walls when the owner(s) discovered that she can't be bred?
Sounds like she just has ambiguous external genitalia. Not to get too NSFW but if her testosterone levels are normal for a female (which according to her trainer they are) then she likely does not have testicles.
I feel like I need pictures. I remember years ago someone on COH talking about a hermaphrodite colt they had.

If any railbirds hit up SA next time she runs... I'm genuinely curious as I've never seen such a thing. I wonder if they removed it completely or it looks like some sort of benign growth?

The impressive maiden winner Rubilinda (Frankel) is running in a few minutes in the 5th at Belmont, a 7-furlong Allowance on the turf.

Thanks for the heads up-- just caught the end of the race-RubiLinda was a fast closing 2nd--the said she had a bit of a troubled trip

Rubilinda was 2nd, but she had a horrible trip. Had position on the hedge, but the horse outside of her crowded her so much that the rider had to take up sharply, leaving her behind a wall of horses coming into the stretch. It's a credit to her talent that, when she finally got open, she was able to get up for the place.
The winner was Cherry Lodge (Bernardini x Wilshewed), another beautifully-bred filly.

Haven't watched the race yet but if the chart description is accurate it's amazing she lost by only 1 1/4 lengths.

Her chart reads like an action/horror/suspense movie!

Just watched the replays - pan and head-on - and I can only say that Rubilinda is one game, tough filly. That's one of the worst trips I've ever seen, and she was still full of running and try at the end.
