The great Galileo filly Minding 'has had a setback' and will be on the sidelines until the fall.

No explanation of what the problem is, but she will miss this weekend's Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Royal Ascot meet. :(

It's a shame that Minding and Seventh Heaven will be out until the Autumn... that only leaves Alice Springs from their team of wonder-fillies

Remember this name: RUBILINDA.
The first winner for Frankel in the US (if I heard Colmus correctly), the bay filly broke last in the 6th at Belmont, a 6-furlong MSW on the turf. Despite her slow start, she came charging past everyone in the stretch and won going away. In a sprint.
Definitely a WOW performance.

I was watching TVG and they said something about To Catch A Glimpse falling in the race at Woodbine --- I am not sure I heard it right-- anyone know what happened?

Per Mark Casse via text, Catch a Glimpse "bled bad she collapsed. She's up and walked on the van and is back at the barn being examined"

They can recover from something like this. Likely they'll put her on antibiotics, maybe a bronchial medicine, give her lots of rest, and bring her back slowly, scoping after gallops and works. If all goes well, she could return to racing...unless they decide to retire her.

She won. 1:45.29 for 9 furlongs--that's serious racehorse time.

The nice Mandela mare Avenge went to the front and set brisk fractions; Lady Eli just set up off her flank as the two mares eyeballed each other. Avenge was the one who folded in the stretch.
If LE were a lesser horse, that little speed duel might have let the closer catch her, but LE is NOT a lesser horse. :P ;)

Brilliant and courageous win for LE. Was that a stakes record?

I don't think so, but from this DRF article:
Lady Eli, with Irad Ortiz Jr. up, was timed in 1:45.29 for 1 1/8 miles on firm turf. That is the fastest nine-furlong grass race this meet, by more than a second, according to colleague Brad Free.

Wow is right. 23 3/5 over the last 1/4 mile, coming from last to first. This performance is definitely worth watching on the Belmont replays - 6th race on May May 27. She blew through the field as if they were standing still. Super impressive.
