I hope that Sonneteer can recover from Derby Madness and resume a more normal race progression. :P
He's a handsome colt, and I'd love to see him develop into a stakes horses.

Nice win by Honor and Courage to break his maiden for Jerry Hollendorfer and Fox Hill Farm. Love those UBS grays. Hope Rick is feeling better. This win should help :-)

Still at New Bolton, but doing well and bandages are off. Detailed X-ray showed a shattered sesamoid. Per Jeremy Balan.

Irish War Cry worked alongside Ascend at Fair Hill Saturday. He is a possible for the Belmont but not a definite.

Latest update:
Royal Mo update: still at New Bolton, doing "good for the situation," per Shirreffs (FREE)
Royal Mo, who suffered a career-ending ankle fracture at Pimlico six days before the Preakness Stakes, remains at New Bolton in Pennsylvania following ankle-fusion surgery, trainer John Shirreffs said Saturday morning.

Shirreffs said Royal Mo was doing "good for the situation."

He said Royal Mo is intended to eventually move to Kentucky, but there is no rush.

"They don't want to move him until they feel good," he said.

Royal Mo finished third in the Santa Anita Derby behind stablemate Gormley. He was an intended runner in the Kentucky Derby, but did not draw in from the also-eligible list.

TIMELINE entered in G3 Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Sunday! Guess they are still targeting the Haskell and this gives him a prep race over that track.

Ask me that in six months, because right now it's throw-a-dart territory.

Here's a question that should get a rise from some folks: What if Yoshida wins out his year, snagging wins in prestigious turf races, ending with a victory in the BC Turf? And what if the dirt colts keep taking turns beating each other?
Could a superior grass colt gets the Eclipse for 3yo male?

i say yes, but i'm going to be met with "but it's the 3 yr old DIRT colts because there's already a male turf category!!" we ran into this with older male and older male was explicitly changed to dirt, if i recall?
Get out to Lenny’s for their big grand opening sale. Find eight government secrets and get a free kidnapping and personality reassignment so that you’ll forget you found them!
