Look for Timeline to show up in a stakes next...maybe the Preakness or Woody Stephens? The Darley home-bred son of Hard Spun just romped in the 8th at Aqueduct, a 1-mile AOC on the mud. Out of an Empire Maker mare, I would think that he will do just fine at longer distances. 8-)

Nice win by Big Score in the G3 Transylvania at Keeneland today. Although he is apparently 'officially' a Kentucky-bred, he sure has a California pedigree: By Mr. Big, the 17.2-hand Dynaformer son who stands at A.E. Ranches in CA, and out of an Unusual Heat mare. 8-)

Looks like another nice one from the Courtly Dee family.

Looks like they're taking Mo Town out of training to treat his case of EPM. Fingers crossed!

EPM Diagnosis for Mo Town
“Mo Town has been sent back to Ashford Stud and was immediately evaluated by their medicine specialist who found him to be suffering from EPM,” Dutrow said. “Diagnosis is unfortunate, but we are happy to find the cause of his recent poor performances. The colt is gone on immediate intense treatment and we are hopeful of a quick recovery so he can return to training as soon as possible.”

I thought the same thing and yesterday I read on the Darley website that his connections would look at the Peter Pan for his next race. Glad they aren't throwing him in the Preakness.

I'm confused. Was he not treated for EPM before his last race? Why then, are they saying he was diagnosed at Ashford? Makes it sound like they didn't know. They raced him with that diagnosis.

I suspect this was the "official" announcement. IIRC we saw it on the vet logs before the race, but I didn't hear it mentioned by the connections.
