Hmm...this article describe Forest Mouse as a "horse." Is this nine-year-old still intact?
If so, I hope that he'll be headed off to the shed soon. After earning over $855,000, he's earned a cushy farm job. :P ;)

Yes, he's intact. My understanding is that he will be headed to regional stallion duty upon completion of his racing career - but they just might be looking at that ever so close million dollar mark - so a 10yo season may not be out of the question, unless, of course, he has a stellar 2017. Just a nice, hard trying blue collar horse. Hope he stays safe.

Shaman Ghost came out well of the Pegasus. No set plans yet for his next start.

They make it sound like he is on the brink of going lame at any second. Which I know is the case for any horse, but they really make it sound like soundness could keep him from making it through the year. Odd phrasing.

Hoppertunity Seeks San Antonio Repeat (Mor Spirit is entered too)

Go Hops! I would love to see one of my favorite guys repeat the score... For betting purposes I'd probably take either Accelerate or Dalmore to upset.
Go Hopper!

I'm assuming he's laid up again, because he was supposed to be aiming for the mile race at GP on Saturday. And he hasn't worked since December. On the bright side, his 3YO 1/2 sister has started breezing.

Bal a Bali Training Toward Kilroe Mile
Fox Hill Farms and Siena Farm's Bal a Bali is currently listed on the Calumet Farm online stallion roster, but if all goes as planned, he won't be visiting any mares this year.

Still in training with Hall of Famer Richard Mandella in Southern California, the 2014 Brazilian Triple Crown winner is working toward a start in the March 11 Frank E. Kilroe Mile (G1T) and logged a six-furlong drill Feb. 10 in 1:13 3/5 at Santa Anita Park.

"I gave him some time off, and they thought, if he didn't train well, he could go to stud," Mandella said. "But he's training too good to go to stud."
