It feels like the gelding was hit with bad luck (not of his own making) during what may have been his prime. I hope he can return in top form, but...at eight? :?

Kobe's Back is back in the Kona Gold at Santa Anita this weekend.

I hope he does well, although Baffert's Lord Simba seems to be the sharp horse right now.

I'm happy that his connections are giving the full brother of Creative Cause a chance to prove that he'll be even better at four. We had enough three-year-old colts retired last year, so it's nice to see Destin is still going to race. Hope he does well.

I hadn't heard from Destin in so long I assumed he had been retired.

I hope the time off did him some good and he has a good season.
