Thanks PG, that's the last I heard of him as well, as it was around that time that BB announced he would NOT be going to Dubai for the Golden Shaheen. I'm more curious what's he doing currently, and if there's any word that he's back in training. I'm trying to get a sense if he has any chance of making the Met Mile or if that's even under consideration.

This million dollar 2013 KEESEP yearling purchase had his first start back today since fracturing his pastern in three places in March 2016. He had shown a lot of promise in his first two career starts in 2015.

Seattle Serenade finished 4th beaten by 12 1/4 lengths, on March 30, 2017, at SANTA ANITA PARK in Race 3.
Off odds: 3.10

Good for him. He may not be able to keep up with the current batch of handicap horses but he is still bringing home checks in his new career as a marathoner.

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I was curious so I tweeted at Town and Country... they answered RIGHT away, saying they still have him and, "We've been very happy with his progress in the mornings and are waiting on Mr. Mandella's plan."

That was good race, and IMO the most interesting horse to watch out of the race may be the Chilean import, Tu Brutus, a 5yo Scat Daddy horse who led for most of the race until Send It In caught him near the wire.
For his first race here, that was a pretty good performance, and it will be interesting to see where he runs next.

Was cheering him on in the stretch! Definitely an encouraging US debut.

Jerkens seemed unsure after the Big Cap, they apparently haven't mapped out anything specific for him and are taking it one race at a time.
Last year he won the Brooklyn Invitational (12f, G2) maybe they try him in the Met, Stephen Foster or the Suburban again? There's also the 10f Gold Cup at Santa Anita May 28th. But he shipped from Palm Meadows to Belmont and worked there yesterday on the dirt training track. (4f in :48.8)

It's hard to say without a specific plan mapped out where they might go. They have a G1 at 9f and 10f (two, if you wanna count the Queen's plate) and a G2 at 12f. I'd imagine they'd want one at a mile too.
Would be neat if he did the JCGC in the fall though.
