I was wondering if Hoppertunity was headed to the BC Classic. He's not.

9yo southwest fan favorite and local hero Forest Mouse, is entered in the Veterans Stakes at Zia Park next Monday (10/30/17). Looking for his 26th win from 61 starts, and edging ever so close to that million dollar mark.

Veterans Stakes - $50,000 Purse - 1 and 1/16 Miles - Race 9 - 3:46 pm

Go get 'em, Mouse!

Makes sense. He might not be able to beat Baffert's A-Team, but he can sure score some graded stakes wins elsewhere. :D

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
