Yeah, where is everyone? Is there anywhere in the country that is actually experiencing good weather right now? Can I go there?

I know?

I still haven't seen any Barbaro stuff, kinda surprised about that.

Getting a lot better stories from NBC today then for the Derby

Glorious weather here. 72 and sunny.

Exaggerator looks lights-out, but IMO he has all week.

Commy regrets asking :D

Exaggerator looks so good. I hate overlooking Nyquist (again) in favor of a horse who hasn't beaten him (again), but if he's going to finally get past, this has to be the place. He's unlikely to get this good of a setup again.

I agree, if he's gonna get it done it's here.

Keith's accent is oddly soothing.

I love Keith's interviews- he's always totally honest without being a jerk and the result is often pretty entertaining (especially when contrasted with his brother's... exuberance?). I hope he keeps getting to these big races.

Are we really going to make it through this broadcast without a Barbaro feature?! No way!

I'm kind of surprised too. Then again, the exec producer of racing at NBC is related to Matz. So maybe it was a courtesy.

Well, they did do a small segment about the Jacksons losing their horse today, and how 10 years ago the same thing happened with Barbaro....

Like, I'm glad they are acknowledging the deaths of the two horses today. It shouldn't be swept under the rug. But can we let Barbaro rest, please.... I miss the damn horse like crazy still, but it feels like he's ALWAYS brought up during every NBC broadcast.

I love Lani and his weirdness.

I'm glad they haven't brought up Barbaro because that broke my 14 yr old heart but it is also very weird.

Speaking of the forum being quiet, I personally haven't bonded with Nyquist. Nice horse, but can't stand his connections. I am also not sure if I am going to watch or not based on the fatalities today. I live near Lexington, and it is one of the big stories on the web page. I have Facebook friends who are sharing it. Does not look good for horse racing. If this is the lead story on the station that has been covering the Preakness every night on all the newscasts, it does not bode well for the sport.

Lani may wear pink boots, but he's hardcore!
