I'm hoping lightning can strike twice. I'll hit the same 1-2 punch as last year and hope for the best.

Perhaps idiotically so, I love Fort Larned here. I think he can handle the pace - he has before, and I think his crappy efforts this year were just bounces off a rather taxing effort the time prior. Hernandez just has to get him out.

Glad for the winning trainer and jockey. Also, a really nice race by the Euro Declaration of War. Had he changed leads in the stretch.... it appeared as though he only lost by a half length or less as it was. But AO has Australia back in the barn to look forward to.
