One of my favorites was a horse by Two punch named Down goes Frazier...I guess you have to be old enough to remember Howard Cosell to fully appreciate that one..

I was betting that horse last year at Saratoga.
When he was racing I made a point of yelling it out at the OTB
Down goes Frazier x 3 :D
No one has ever bet enough on a winning horse.

No matter what you think about the person involved, you might get a chuckle out of this clever name like I did. The two year old Baffert trainee scratched from the Del Mar Futurity.

I'm not sure if it's a clever name.
But I wouldn't dislike it, haha!

Japonisme(AUS), 2012G. Choisir(AUS) x Haiku(AUS), won the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington today!

Niqnaaqpaadiwaaq, by Aqlaam-Aswaaq, by Peintre Celebre.

Give the dog a bone! (Entered at Redcar, England, today.) Sire and dam were Godolphin, but this one with the mock-Arabic name is owned, and obviously named, by Brits. I wonder what Sheikh Mo thinks of this.

While watching the BC simulcast I occasionally watched the racing from GP West, and saw this horse win a 6250 claimer there:
Whiskey Cures Ugly.
Reminds of the horse I saw racing a few years ago named Drinktilshespretty. ;)
