While I admire King, it does irk me the wrong way in that last paragraph. I'm not one to think your $2.6M earning 10yr old gelding needs to bring home some more checks...

If it is in the KY Horse park it would not be in the Champions barn. He is not a BC, Classic or Eclipse winner. I would rather see him as a pony at the track like his brothers. He seems to be happy at the track and loves having something to do. I'm sure there are people lined up around the block for him.

Yeah, I think he has done enough and then some. He was just not the same horse at the end of last year, IMO.

Well, I guess we'll see just how much gas is left in the old tank. Sometimes the seniors will experience a rejuvenation of the sap at the tail end of their careers, but I hope
they don't get too greedy with this guy. Much to be said for going out on top - and safe...
