TIMELINE won an AOC at Belmont on Sunday. Race #8. He beat Tapwrit...last year's Belmont winner and looked sharp doing it. Glad to see him back in the winner's circle! Hoping he has a better summer this year!

Glad to see we are up and running again. Didn't miss much regarding Hard Spun's offspring, but there are a couple things of note.

Homespun Hero won the Meadow Stable Stakes on August 4 at Laurel park and became Hard Spun's 64th (I think) stakes winner.

Clear Water won the Grosser Preis von Engel & Volkers Dusseldorf (Listed) on September 9. She is Hard Spun's 65th stakes winner, I think. She races in second place for most of the race before overtaking the leader and winning by over 2 lengths. She is the #7 horse.

edit: 65th stakes winner is correct. I just went to his best progeny page on the Darley website and counted them.

Well! Rocketry became a stakes winner today, breaking Man O War's record for the distance at Belmont Park in the Temperance Hill Stakes at 1 5/8 miles on the dirt. His record is now 15-4-3-2. They finally tried him on the dirt and he became a stakes winner and set a track record! I have been following this guy since he made his debut last year and wondered why they kept him on the grass for so long. Very happy for him and his connections, which are the same connections that raced Wicked Strong. Rocketry is Hard Spun's 66th stakes winner.
