Re: Conan announcing a race in Santa Anita

I've never been a Conan fan, but I thought his call was awesome!

Beats the heck out of Trevor! ;)

Re: Match Races & Walkovers In Horse Racing

Trevor is stepping aside on Friday so that Conan O'Brien can call race 2. http://www.paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/coco-to-take-the-mic-at-santa-anita/ Riots? Conan is a risk taker..... I only hope he has plenty of security in case some unstable individual goes into the announcers booth to do him ...

Re: DULLAHAN dead of colic

So sad and, of course, stunningly unexpected ...

Yet one more reason why we need to cherish each and every one of them and treat each moment as if it might be their last ... I try to do that as best as I can.

May this poor, sweet soul rest in peace.

In retrospect, it sure as Hell seems like they had no business bringing him back. This sucks. :(

Looks like he'll make it in time for the last HP meet.

He's a gorgeous horse. Sure hope his return to the track is a safe one.

Re: Sales/Rescues

Thanks for the updates ladies. This makes me very very happy!

I always feared that when his track "usefulness" was done he'd be dumped and prayed that when that happened, he'd be discovered and saved.

Now that that's happened and it seems he has a forever home lined up I'm immeasurably happy! :)

Re: Sales/Rescues

I hope that BBB will be ok, if the PM was up, I would send something to Tin Man. He's one of his favorites. He was in the same barn as Grand Mischief at one point, who I have been unable to locate since she was pulled up in her last race at Los Al on 5/24. Looking at BBB's chart, he changed barns. ...

Word is that ... Facoltoso Was put down after pulling up in his race at Santa Anita last Sunday ... I do not know what his injury was. He was Great Britain bred and ran the first 13 races of his career in Italy before continuing his racing career in Southern California on July 18, 2012. He ran in St...

Re: Cozmic One

After reading some of the Facebook comments, I now want to punch something. So many people are convinced that he will be 1) slaughtered, 2) killed at the track from being pushed to race as a baby, and/or 3) run into the ground because no one cares about anything but money. Makes one think maybe the...

Re: Match Races & Walkovers In Horse Racing

My favorite match race is b4 vs. MC. The stamina of both is astounding. Which do you guys think will have the last word? Now that's a tough one ... They're both funny as Hell in this thread though! I think they should have their match race on foot though ... and per MC's suggestion, let's make it t...
