Re: Charismatic comes home

Perhaps he got cast. . . . We were going with the reports of no signs of struggle or what happened (in addition to it being far more common to break the pelvis outdoors). Songbird worked great. She went 5/8ths this morning with fractions of 12:84 35.44 47.48 59.66 and galloped out 112:41 127:41 and 140:38;. Jerry didn't know if the clockers gave her a "breeziing" or not. We will know shortly.

Re: What place in your heart do dogs have?

I, too, have never been without a dog in my life (except the year I worked in Ocala and lived in Hobeau's dorms). Heck, right before my wedding I had to put my lab mix down due to old age, and my sister, knowing I would LOVE it (which I did, lol), gave me one of her Irish Setters as a wedding gift! ...

Re: RunHappy

It is my experience that horses turned out in a dirt paddock tend to just stand there for the majority of the time after perhaps initially running around and rolling, etc. while those in a grass pasture tend to slowly move continuously as they graze, as Katmandu says. It is more natural and therefo...

Someone on another group had mentioned it, but its interesting enough for discussion here. Hal Hatch has been busy picking up his newest pinhooking ventures, as well. I always like to see what he buys. In recent years, Hal has been able to get better stock due to some better clients. Hal's a very a...

Re: Dancing with the Stars

Now, the reason I came here.... My stupid question.... Haven't I heard a lot about how demanding the schedule is for DWTS? Yet our rider for AP and other horses won't find that to be a problem?
