Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Those photos were from June, they were posted earlier in the thread. I'd love to see her now, see if she's greyed out any.

Yeah she started greying out early, you could see it in the pics they posted early in the summer. It will be fun to watch her get lighter and lighter!

Re: The Melbourne Cup (G1)

Huh, so the blue tongue wasn't just me seeing things... just a damned shame all around. :( I saw some comment/speculation that CoM clipped heels with Muntahaa in front of him & that's what set off the breakdown, but I didn't see it (thank god I was looking away) and I am not about to go back and wa...

Re: The Melbourne Cup (G1)

Not as of yet, officially, but the firsthand Twitter accounts sound very very bad. I made my original ETA when the commentators were using words like "tragedy at the winning post" so I assumed the worst - I couldn't look.

I hope I'm wrong, but my gut says no.

Re: The Melbourne Cup (G1)

Like I said, the hanging out doesn't cause me any concern.

Anyway, it's Cliffs of Moher I'm worried about now. :( But congrats to Cross Counter for a great run.

ETA: Well he's beyond worry now. Poor fellow. :( :( :(

Re: The Melbourne Cup (G1)

I wouldn't normally be worried about Rostropovich's tongue hanging out... but it does seem to be on the blue side, which makes the dressage rider in me cringe. :?

Here's hoping it's either the stream feed or my monitor (or both).
