Re: The Gelding Thread

Mylute I would say Life in Shanbles is at least a hand taller, and several feet closer. That's a nice big boy.

Just think! Baffert will have something to do on the first Friday in May, too!
Wouldn't want him to get too bored.

Re: Accelerate vs Justify HOTY

Now the posts before my last one. He would not have won the Triple Crown in any of the previous 20 years. Really? Amazingly, he was not in those races. He was in the Triple Crown races this year. He was not born 20 years ago. He was born 3 years ago. That made him eligible to run this year in the 20...

Re: The VENT Thread

Well dammit, stark! Tell them to hurry up and pass! Damned Dr found a couple on the left, didn't look on the right. I need to go through that ER with a baseball bat in one hand, directions in the other. I think I'm their favorite patient. I know they've screwed up before their mentor does. I'll live...

I am also thoroughly sick of kidney stones. They hurt. If I make it through today without a hospital stay, I won"t tomorrow.

Re: Accelerate vs Justify HOTY

Going back to the last post directed at me..... Who showed up.... 19 other horses that were seen as from a good, even excellent crop. We had the usual threats of dying if this, that or the other horse didn't soundly defeat whoever the poster did not prefer. This, that, or the other horse was anointe...

Re: Accelerate vs Justify HOTY

Accelerate looks wonderful... against the competition he was running against. Let's face it. If you wait until the better horses are retired, you must be the best out there. He couldn't beat them if he ran against them. Then the greed of the owners got Justify retired. Hand it to Accelerate's owners...

Re: Earthquakes, Tsunamis & Volcanos

Quakes of up to 7.5 in and southeast of Loyalty.Islands in the southern Pacific. Plenty of aftershocks.
These and the Alaska quakes are part of the "Ring of Fire " surrounding the Pacific Ocean.

Re: Earthquakes, Tsunamis & Volcanos

Looking at the list of recent quakes on that site, if the people around Anchorage put some sugared cream out they could do a great business in ice cream. Aftershocks by the dozens.
