Re: War Front colt tops Tattersalls Day 2

I am confused why everyone is wanting to ship him to Europe, why? Is it because he sires Turf horses? Some say he is overpriced, well who cares, people pay for it, so he must be worth it. He is throwing lovely horses one mare in foal to him in 2015 sold for $2.2 Million, 1 Yearling so far at $800,00...

Re: Ocala Stud Sold

Im so heartbroken! Where will the stallions stand didn't they just add a newer one? and the bodies of those great champions what of them.. I really think OBS needs to create a memorial gardens in the center field of the track.. So that the bodies of these great horses can be moved there, as well as ...

Re: Claiborne Farm

I worked for 2 larger Florida breeding farms.. Everyone on the farm was told during breeding season.. If the weather is nice, and you see a mare foaling, go in and remove other mares and alert foaling staff to be on hand at the paddock to assist if necessary.. in my career I have seen a few mares wh...

Re: Claiborne Farm

I saw the post and just rolled my eyes. One guy was like nice to see you use straw, lol.. The one shot of the foal while he/she was sleeping in the snow, the snow on him/her was melted and not even getting to the skin and the foal was just snuggled into the snow.. I wanted to put if the foal was mis...

Re: Stallion News

Speaking of Adena Stallions, I personally think it has helps keep the stallions being wanted by breeders... By moving them around it allows them to fill books.. Why stand in one spot and lower your fee year after year, when you can move to a location where the horse is a bigger fish at the same pric...

Re: New Conformation Photos

I think the discussion to Will Take Charge's yearling price is going the wrong direction. I don't believe it was any issue with x-rays or scoping. I think we have to look at his dam at the time he sold.. When he was a yearling his dam had 4 foals ahead of him and of them only 2 winners and Take Char...

Re: Goodbye Santa Anita Hello Keeneland

I personally have hated the Breeders Cup staying at Santa Anita over and over.. I think what made the Breeders Cup special was the movement year to year at different tracks. I just think staying at Santa Anita is catering to celebrities and sponsors. That being said I have no issue with the great ra...
