Re: Belmont Stakes News & Notes - 2018

I doubt the post matters much. I do doubt his stamina right now, he sure looked tired in the Preakness. It wouldn't be surprising to see him poop out this time and finish off the board, he is made of flesh and blood after all.

Re: Justify

Interesting to hear former jockey now XBTV commentator Rich Migliore comment on one of their segments that he thought that Hofburg was the horse to beat, and that Justify might have trouble with the mile and a half and the deep sandy track at Belmont. Said he would be watching closely to see how he...

I missed my $20 tri by a nose, needed Audible to get up for 2nd. So close, but that's horse racing.

Re: Final Derby Picks

I haven't finalized my picks but will definitely have one tri box and ex tossing Justify, Mendelssohn & Audible. Not sure if I should still include My Boy Jack in my box with Hofburg, Vino, Good Magic, Bolt since Jack's 5-1 now; I was planning on 15 or 20-1. If it's just one big win bet he might sti...

Storm Cat sire line

Anyone feel you should toss these horses? They include Audible, Justify, and Mendelssohn. SC line has three 4ths, a 3rd, three seconds, but 0 for 51 on the win.

Re: G3 Lexington Stakes

My Boy Jack seems like the type who will get up for a piece in the Derby, maybe 3rd or 4th, although this is looking like a tough field this year.

Bob didn't want to build up any early Derby hype. You know how he likes to fly under the radar and stay out of the spotlight.

Re: Happiness

My new book, Leather Head, is my biggest success yet. It's twisted horror and I scheduled it to come out right before Halloween. I guess that helped because it's my biggest seller yet! Yeah! You can get it on Amazon, an eBook novelette, a quick read. All 5 star reviews so far!

Re: BC TURF 1-1/2 Saturday R11

The top two Euro's look tough but it seems quite often one of the "other Euro's" sneaks in. But which one? Talismanic is consistent but in Gr. 2 & 3's. Decorated Knight maybe if he likes this course better than the top two do, he has the class. Seventh Heaven looked good until the May layoff then up...

It's between Looking at lee and Senior Investment. J Boys Echo did beat the Preakness winner and Irish has run a big number too, but they both look suspect.

I kind of like him too for the same reasons, but those Beyers aren't just low they are very low. That said, I will use him in some bets.
