Re: G1 PA Derby & G1 Cotillion Saturday, Sept. 22

I have reservations about MicKinzie. That's a really long layoff against some bigger boys.

I like Bravazo to finally get that big win, or Hofburg.

Re: 2018 foals

Cuties! RugbyGirl, I heard rumours Black Caviar went to Pharoah his first season in Aus... do you know if that's true? Wishful thinking! She is in foal to I Am Invincible. She has only ever visited proven sires so far [/quote] Thanks I thought as much! As exciting as that would be, I was skeptical,...

Re: 2018 Keeneland September Yearling Sale

The article said " ...he had a colic surgery as a foal." I presume that it's been a year or longer since that surgery and he is completely healed. I'm also under the impression that surgery on foals is not as serious as on an adult, since babies heal fast if they're healthy. Correct me if I'm mista...

Pants On Fire?

Does anybody have any updates on him? We know he retired to Diamond B Farm for 2016 after a successful career. Apparently he “didn’t breed any mares” in 2017, apparently showing no interest which is ironic because of how he got his name, and the last thing I found was a Facebook post saying that he ...

Re: New Conformation Photos

I think I'm in love with Sharkbite. What a hunk. <3 His very dark chestnut coloring appeals to me...wonder if his mane is red like his tail. It’s not. Here’s a lower quality picture of him showing the mane. https://mistable-files.s3.amazonaws.com/live/images/public/339/2016/07/550x412/6a8f63eb05af1...

Re: Stallion News

Normandy is now in KY- I saw him a couple of weeks ago and was told he is to start breeding there in the next upcoming season Huh. Didn’t see anything about that posted anywhere. He’s been based at Keane since he retired. I guess that means he has enough interest to warrant the move, which is good ...

Re: New Conformation Photos

Sharkbite is a full brother to Scissor Kick who has a pic on here a bit earlier so comparing the two is interesting both are closely related to the Hasili family. Sharkbite was sold in a online auction a few months ago and I'm not certain what farm has picked him up Matrice Park (I think) got him. ...

Re: Stallion News

Yep, he’s off the radar now. Not convinced he’ll be any better than his sire, but Spendthrift likes having 400 stallions in the barn. They ruined this horse in the Met Mile. Not accusatory by any means (cause I know it probably sounds that way) but how did they ruin Mor Spirit in the Met Mile? Or m...

I like it. There's also a 2015 filly out of Halloween Party by Artie Schiller named Vamp.

Re: Smooth Roller

Hope it really is a "good home." :? I didn't have my Polygraph machine with me. At least he didn't say he went to live on his groom's farm in Mexico. ;) In all seriousness, Smooth Roller is a big, athletic good looking boy. If sound enough, he could look awfully good in a show arena. I'm sure he'll...
