Re: Versus

I think Fager takes it, he does match up well with Slew but I don't see anyone beating him if he has the lead. I might give Slew an edge if its over a mile but Fager is next to invisible in that mile distance. Ruffian vs Dr Fager, 1 1/4 mile on dirt at Belmont. Fast track. THIS one is going to be a ...

Re: 2018 List of Mares Bred

War Front only had 82 mares- wonder if there was interruption during his 2018 breeding like there was for Super Ninety Nine. Glad to see Captain Bodgit still get some action :) FuPeg only 4.... and I am shocked Coolmore still has him. is there a clause that forbids his transfer/sale to different farm?

Re: 2018 Keeneland November Sale

Was surprised to see I Want Revenge listed, same goes for Morse Code and Japan. I wonder who will get Lady Eli- she is a mean mare and apparently hard to handle. Tough to catch in the pasture so she is in the round pen when I was at HnD recently. It sort of sound like she might be the next Preach at...

Re: Stallion News

Normandy is now in KY- I saw him a couple of weeks ago and was told he is to start breeding there in the next upcoming season Huh. Didn’t see anything about that posted anywhere. He’s been based at Keane since he retired. I guess that means he has enough interest to warrant the move, which is good ...

Re: In memoriam 2018

I saw Rainbow View with her newborn foal at just days old last year at Stone farm. So sad to only hear she passed one year later.

I didn't expect to see her at Stone, not realizing her owner boards his mares there. A nice treat however!

Can you say, L-A-M-E? Triple Tap c. Tapit x Littleprincessemma https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/228742/american-pharoahs-sister-chasing-yesterday-to-debut There is a reason of the naming- this is the 3rd colt from the dam that is born on the very same day (I think feb 27) Saw him th...

Re: Photos/News about Broodmares

After visiting KY last weekend, I will need to post some photos of the ladies I was able to see/meet. Including Pussycat Doll, Balletto (my favorite), Oatsee, Questing, and a few others.

Re: Mendelssohn

It is between staying at Winstar or going to Ashford. It was even mentioned 'possibility of going to a different farm' in Horse County. I was just at Winstar last Friday and I asked someone if they could confirm and she said she is unsure of what the final plans are for him. He was 'hanging' and the...

Re: Mendelssohn

I believe No Nay Never is in Ireland as well- I do not see him on Ashford roster.

I hope Mendy runs again next year- he just turned 3 on his actual birthday right before the Derby I think? I am sure he would mature as a 4 year old. Hoping for another season for this boy!

Re: Random Retiree News

I read tibits on facebook- looks like Live Oak sold him or something and ended up in wrong hands somewhere down the road. I wonder of the story behind him, itll be quite a tale if the horse can talk! The farm seen friendly enough when I asked on My Typhoon recently. How is My Typhoon? She is well- ...

Denali

I am planning on a trip next week to various farms. I wanted to see if anyone know what mares are boarded at Denali? I know Oatsee, Pussycat Doll, Night and Day and Serena's Song are there (from the top of my head at the moment), but who else? They have a lot big names mares but names aren't popping...

Re: Valiant Nature

Mill Ridge got back to me and said they moved him to WV due to fertility issues they was discovered after his 1st year in stud. I am contacting Charlestown racetrack for Dickie Moore who worked there since he owns Naylee Farm where Valiant was sent to. Hopefully they can send in a contact from him a...

Valiant Nature

Someone mentioned him on a facebook post and was asking if he is still around. He supposedly was pensioned at Mahogany Hill Farm in KY but it looks like the farm closed. Anyone know? Or if can pull death report if any? I am asking Mill Ridge if they know anything since he did stand there previously.

Re: Famous Rabbits

The rabbits that stood out was during Dr Fager and Damascus' time. And that rabbit was for Damascus' benefit. The Doc hated to have another horse in front or next to him so he poured his speed until the last ounce of energy- which set it all up for Damascus. I do not think it was fair if rabbits are...

https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/227924/power-sisters-preach-and-yarn Nice article about Preach and Yarn. Preach is still alive and kicking (and probably biting) at 29, sharing a pasture with fellow pensioners Starry Dreamer (dam of War Front), Hidden Reserve (dam of Reload and Defe...

Found out this morning Champion #UNTAPABLE will be retuning home with 2 #FRANKEL colts (1 at foot, 1 in utero). Hopefully 1 of the 2 will be half the racehorse #CRACKSMAN is. @EpsomRacecourse @JohnGosden1 @FrankieDettori
Which farm is she going to be boarded?
