According to their Facebook page, Swifty Farms will be standing GSW One Mean Man in 2019.

One Mean Man (Mizzen Mast x Abbeyville Miss) won the Gr.III American Derby, and is a MSW. He is a full sibling to MGSW Mizz Money.
I hope he didn't get that name based on temperament or personality

Re: Retirements 2018

I'm not surprised Abel Tasman retired that was sort of a given after her last performance..she seemed to have made it clear she's done

Re: The Green Monkey

It says how much he meant to Hartley/DeRenzo that they won’t ever put another horse in his stall. My heart breaks for his owners and handlers

Wow does get stormy throw some bling on his foals. Not surprising I guess because get stormy himself has so much chrome

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

I visit hospitals with her. We also work as part of a hospice agency and visit hospice clients in nursing homes  if I had a dollar for every time each week I get asked what breed(s) Madi is I’d probably be rich. Best responses to my answers about her breed come from the elderly. One lady said t...

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Maybe I’m just a horse geek but I find the whole color genetics topic in horses and dogs interesting. For example my lab mix Madi is three. She’s a rescue I adopted around Christmas 2014. Her body is black and white with spots. She very much has the size and body of what a rat terrier would. Her si...

That looks like a memory that boy will treasure. Not many can say they got to pet an undefeated triple crown winner in person

Re: Justify

I learned a couple of interesting things from the Baffert and Smith interviews on NBCSN. When explaining how Justify is not a cuddly 'Lab' like AP, Bob said the big colt 'isn't mean,' but that he's bitten EVERYONE in the barn. Uh, OK..so I wonder what Bob considers to be 'mean?' :? Mike is en...

Justify question

Distorted humor is getting up there in age. If justifys breeding rights were truly sold to Coolmore, if justify becomes a massive success as a stallion. Would winstar regret selling him and not standing him themselves? Justify as a triple crown winner and an undefeated one at that could potentially ...

Re: In memoriam 2018

“Doug” our barns foundation horse has passed unexpectedly last night. The barn owner has been away on a trip and the girls have been watching the barn. Doug was the first horse ever on the farm. It was even named after his racing name. Doug was such a goof and his passing will leave a massive hole i...
